Petton is just 11 miles from the picturesque town of Shrewsbury with its historic buildings, and the market town of Ellesmere is only 8 miles away where you can visit the Shropshire Union Canal and the Mere. The Shropshire Lakes are glacial meres of which there are nine in total with Ellesmere being the largest. You can enjoy an ice cream, a boat trip or just explore the town.

The region has a gentle pace with many areas to explore that you will want to keep coming back to see and discover more.
